Thanks :)

Some more :

Tenka Seiha

I had to implement 2048 colors bitmap mode for this one, and it seems playable :) I haven't found any difference with it running on my saturn (I have still to understand what's the goal of this game :p)

Nadesico

This one tries to read from unmapped areas after the loading screen (nasty boy :p)

Mal, this is for you ! (I know you'll appreciate ;) )

This is Batman Forever ST-V version, I don't know where to load the sound roms or the extra sound board but it seems to work well with only the program and graphic roms :)

Some sprites are garbled, but the game is playable ...

Any news? :)

I'm in the middle of a huge rewrite of the VDP core, so until this is done I won't have much news to share :p

But the first step is almost done (ie basic implementation of the priority between the VDP1 and the VDP2), the second one will concern performances increase (or at least a try ;) )

During this rewrite I found a huge bug related to sprites display, so now the sprite list is fully displayed everytime (no more missing sprites/polygons ;) )

Sorry for the lack of updates, I haven't finished the rewrite yet ...

Every thing I want to add implies another thing to be done before, and so on, and so on ...

The first step needed right now is to have proper VDP1 cache lookup, when this technique will work it will also be used for VDP2 caching.

There are sooooo much things to do :p

Well, as long as things are truckin' along as per usual, there is no need for me to go into panic mode :p Keep up the good work!

I finally understood why the emu was crashing when the VDP1 cache was being used, I sort of fixed it (there's still a huge memory leak, but it will be ironed out soon)

That kind of things happens when you do some major rewrite, you try stuff, sometimes it works, sometimes it doesn't ...

Anyway I'll have more time to work on it during the next weeks, as I twisted my ankle and I can convert my former sport slot into a programming slot ;)

And I'll have my holidays during september too, so I hope I would be able to make some progress ...

I'm back to work on Saturnin :D

I needed to take a break from emulation for a while, and now I'm back and ready to code ;)

I did some tests with some techniques I had on my mind for a long time regarding video caching, and I must say I'm pleased by the results.

I only tried it on the bitmap display, and I got almost twice the original speed on Elan Dorée's character selection for example ...
