Ok, let´s go back2topic as this is nothing! Sad but true. He discovered the swap trick, Yipeee... 
Advantages to the origianl swap trick are that this only has to be done once untill machine is powered off.
No swap tricks have to be done afterwards.
Machine never checks for outer ring untill power off.
Swapping disks all the time as before can damage laser assembly.
Also some games like radiant are very difficult to get to run.
Boot disk makes it a breeze.
If yuo want a copy please let me know.

Yes, maybe the swap trick can be performed easier by using your "boot" disc, but as i said in my first post in this thread:
A real boot cd would be inserted and cheating the Saturn that you don´t have to swap. Just insert the CD-R after the boot cd cheated Saturn´s copy protection method...

The boot disk does eactly that,Fools the saturn.
You dont have to do any more swapping after the initial process.
Just insert any cdr for hours on end.

The boot cd does not make the swap trick easier - you dont have to swap at all afterwards.
It temporarely flashes the saturns bios chip so no swapping is neccesary.
Untill machine is turned off.

But you have to perform a swap!
And for me, when i´m in need to play a cd-r sometimes i play only one game at once, so i have no advantage of the point, that you only have to do swap it once and then no more until you turn off the machine...

This method is the closest i have seen at getting cdr to run without the hassle of swapping disk after disk.

The only other way i can think that this machine could be fully cracked is if somebody was to find a way to fully stop the machine from looking for that outer ring.

Let's just be perfectly clear here. You haven't discovered anything new. The developer boot disc has been known about here for years and was ripped years ago. Here's a thread from 2001 discussing this. The behaviour you are talking about is perfectly normal, and doesn't solve the underlying problem of circumventing the copy protection cleanly. There is nothing novel or interesting about what you have done
Well i am glad i amused some of you.
I think that a lot of people cannot even get cdr to work,Let alone a boot disk.
Plus radinat silver gun running for next to nothing cannot be bad.
By the way i do have the ORIGINAL boot disks (programmers disks).
They where from Sega HQ.
I was going to put this down in the thread...
I also have 2 spare blank sega saturn cdr which the images could be burnt onto.
This would create another 2 fully running boot disks with no disk swapping at all.
But now i have thought twice about any info.?
