http://search.ebay.com/search....There's too many auctions on Ebay for it to still be a banned thing on EBay.

Why were DC Imports banned on eBay in the first place?

Imports are illegal in the first place. Nobody really enforces the law though, unless they are asked. My guess would be that Sega asked Ebay to not allow Import Dreamcast games, and recently, Sega told Ebay that it's okay for people to sell them on there now.

i was under the impression that ebay decided to ban all import auctions regardless of system (probabbly because they would require modchips etc for some systems (more psx related than sega/dc, since you can use the boot disc on dc for imports or the chip)

Not exactly. Ebay only wouldn't let people sell import Dreamcast games, and more recently PS-X-Change (disc that acts as a boot disc for PS1)

There were always tons of import Saturn and (less numbers) import PSX games for sale. They were left alone fine. But if a import DC game came up it would have been removed eventually.

Huh, I was starting to wonder why I never saw any DC imports on ebay. Now I know.
