These patches apply to the Japanese version of Keio Flying Squadron 2 (known in Japan as Keiou Yuugekitai - Katsugeki-hen).
First off, the "KEIO2-Japan-English.xdelta" patch replaces almost all Japanese text in the game with English assets from the European release. The exception is the checklist titles under "Extras" mode, but the hints are in English and the bonus screenshots are from the English release. As many will know, the Japanese version (Kisuishou Densetsu Astal) of Astal gives you 5 hit points instead of 3, up to 9 lives (selectable in options), and infinite continues instead of just 1.
There are 2 patches included in the zip file. Both patches replace the Japanese release's movies + SFX with available US English resources.

IMPORTANT NOTE WHEN RIPPING YOUR OWN DISC:
It appears that ISO Buster does not provide a Cue Sheet when you follow the instructions below. You will need a Cue Sheet in order to patch this kind of image. You can create a Cue Sheet by using the tool SegaCueMaker which can be found in the Resources section on this site.
Make sure you're Cue Sheets file extension is lower case. (.cue, NOT .CUE).
If you don't want to make your own Cue Sheets, you can try using the ones provided here...
